Ndi Igbo of ijesa land crowns a new Onye Ndu and Olowu Ndi Igbo of Ijesa land

After the reign of the former Onye ndu of Ndi Igbo chief Orise, the igbo people of Ijesa land has appointed a new Onye ndu chief Ifeanyi Chukwu Achie as the current heir to the throne of Onye Ndu Ndi Igbo of Ijesa lan

Chief Solomon Nwajiobi also the  Eze Udo 1 of Ijesa land was also appointed as the Olowu of Ndi Igbo of Ijesa land in 13th of Oct 2013.

According to chief Ifeanyi he stated that" my position as the Onye Ndu of Ndi Igbo will be a peaceful reign between my people and the yoruba in Ijesa land, to maintain law and orderliness and see to their wants and needs in these land. I want to use this platform to thank the governor of Osun state Rauf Aregbesola and Oba Adekunle Gabriel Aromolaran of Osun state for their love and support towards the Igbo people in Osun state".

However, after his interview with the press, according to his second in command (Olowu) said ". As the Eze Udo 1 of Ijesa land  and also the Olowu of Ndi Igbo, my responsibilities is to help Onye ndu in his office when he is absent, give him advises when necessary and work hand in hand to be able to meet with the needs of the people in Ijesa land".

He also argued the igbo people in Ijesa land to be of good conduct and obey and obey the rules guiding the community.
